How do I ask my existing customer to provide me references?

How do I re-run references for my existing customers?
Answer: On the Credit Reference tab, click on : Re-run credit references link.
Note: This only applies to instances where a terms adjustment or on an account where existing references have been received.
How do I directly ask Banks/Vendors to provide references on my customer?
Answer: On the Credit Reference tab, click on : Direct Request > TRADE Reference or Bank Reference link.
What if the reference contact does not have an email address and only a fax number?
Answer: On the Application, as well as in a Direct Reference Request, the system allows for either an email addressOR a fax number. If both are provided, and a reference has not responded to the email request, there is a Send Fax option in the Credit Reference tab. This will then create a Reference Request Letter that is faxed to that number. During the Account Setup period, you will have the choice of setting up Auto Fax, which will automatically fax a request to the reference contact that your customer has provided in their application.
