Collection File Notes on Collection Activities Report
This update expands the Collection Activities Report to include a CALL NOTES column when reporting call logs, and a FILE NOTES column when reporting collections notes activity. Both columns include user added details directly to each report, allowing greater transparency. These improvements ensure your team has complete context for every interaction, making follow-ups more efficient and decision-making more informed.

Weighted Average Miscellaneous Data Calculation Based on Customer Account Balance
We’re improving the accuracy of weighted average calculations in Credit Review models by introducing a new option: Weighted Average Value (By Balance). Weighted averages are calculated based on Credit Limits, which can skew results when individual child accounts don’t have their own credit limits and instead rely on a shared limit at the main account level. This update allows users to calculate the weighted average based on account balance instead, ensuring more accurate risk assessments. This helps avoid including outliers in the calculations, which would result in a skewed result.

Directly assign Scorecards to Credit Review Automation Models
We’re enhancing Credit Review Automation by integrating Advanced Evaluation Models alongside IDM configuration, making your review process more efficient and granular. With this update, you’ll have the option to assign an IDM model to automatically process credit reviews, using the same scorecard for manual evaluation if a request isn’t auto approved. If no IDM model is assigned, you can now directly select an Advanced Scoring Model to apply to generated reviews. By default, Auto Review with IDM will be set to NO, but you can enable it to streamline approvals through IDM scoring. This update provides greater flexibility in managing credit assessments and improves decision-making.

Experian Blended Report Process Enhancements
To ensure smoother credit evaluations and prevent unnecessary application holds, we’re improving the Premier Profile/BOP Report automated report process. Previously, the report would only auto-pull if both the personal report and commercial report with a high enough MRC score were available, which often blocked auto-approvals. With this update, the blended report can now be partially pulled, meaning if the personal report is unavailable or frozen, the commercial report will still be retrieved, and vice versa. Additionally, a new list of similars configuration allows you to refine data retrieval by choosing where to request only the highest match score. These changes provide improved scoring in credit assessments, reduced delays, and improved efficiency of IDM scoring and auto approvals.

Month-Following Discount Terms Logic
To increase the flexibility of extending discounts, we have implemented the ability to set discount windows to a specific day of the month. This differs from previous discount options which allowed for discount windows to be set based on the number of days that have passed since the invoice bill date. With this new update, our users can now use their industry standard discount terms on applications within the Bectran Payment Portal.
To utilize this feature, go to:
AR SETTINGS > CODES AND TEMPLATES > DISCOUNT TERMS
Next, select the dropdown beside DISCOUNT TERM TYPE and set to MONTH-FOLLOWING.
Multiple Scorecards per Credit Bureau
We’re introducing multi-version scorecards to give you greater flexibility in configuring bureau reports for credit evaluations. With this update, you can create up to 4 versions of a scorecard for each bureau report per business group, allowing different scorecards to be used based on application type. You’ll be able to easily switch between scorecard versions using a dropdown menu and assign specific versions to Advanced Scoring Models or IDM Models, while the default version remains unchanged. This enhancement ensures more precise, tailored scoring, helping you optimize credit decisions for different scenarios.
The scorecards can be configured by following:
Account Settings > Custom Scoring > (Credit Bureau Report)
Automated Sequencing of Pre-Approval Process Flow
To improve the efficiency of the pre-approval process for credit applications, this update introduces the automation of sequencing pre-approval reviewers. Bectran can now automatically deliver applications to reviewers in a set sequence even across departments, removing process bottlenecks and keeping the pre-approval process flowing. The automatic sequencing can pass over reviewers that do not complete their reviews within a determined timeframe, rebuilding the sequence with new reviewers entirely or reshuffling the remaining sequence to complete the process.
